I think it's safe to say this whole film is up in flames. Our Indiegogo page says we've raised only $2,364, right? Not at all. Thanks to the Biola student government association, we have now raised $5,364! Thank you SGA for supporting a wide variety of projects, events, and dreams. In two weeks, Wrapped has raised almost 54% of its budget. While we still have more to do, this is a incredible benchmark, and we are so thankful to everyone who has contributed so far. This project has been a complete leap of faith, and it's moments like this that make me feel validated.
There's still a lot left to do on this project, and I would be lying if I said it wasn't a struggle to not stress out over it all. I over-extend myself and chug something-caffeinated whilst pretending to get enough sleep. I didn't get much sleep last night. In reading the Bible, it's interesting that the people God chooses to use the most are the ones who aren't the strongest or the most fit for the job, but instead the Bible repeatedly shows God choosing people who have one thing: faith.
In The Last Crusade, Indiana Jones has to cross a canyon by taking a literal "leap of faith," and as soon as his feet touch solid ground the camera shifts to reveal a hidden bridge. So, despite not knowing where each step will lead, and despite the overwhelming amount of work left, and despite not knowing where the rest of this project's money will come from, I'll keep praying and keep moving forward.
